My name is Theo and I consider myself a very lucky kitty. You see, I was only three weeks old and when a nice person found me; my Mom was no where to be found. They said I would not have made it much longer without her to feed me. So, for the first couple of weeks my foster Mom fed me with a bottle - it wasn't the same as Mom, but I still grew and got healthy!

I was born approx. June 2006 and since then, have been living with the same foster family. My foster parents say that I am pretty low key and easy-going because I get along with all of the other kitties in my home. My best buddies are Albert and Allie (BOTH AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION). We are so often together that our foster parent's nicknames us the "black cat gang".

Although life has been pretty good to me, I really long for a forever family to love. If you consider adopting me, I will ensure that every cereal bowl goes to the sink nearly clean and without any remaining milk left behind - I can be a big helper!

About Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption is a 501(c)(3), all volunteer, non-profit organization. We are a small group with 3 foster homes. We pull animals from the Jersey City Shelter, Perth Amboy Shelter, Associated Humane. We also accept turn-ins and strays. We are members of the New Hope Program in New York. All our animals are tested, vet checked and spayed/neutered if age permits. We participate in the NJ State Spay/Neuter Program. Animals taken in by Whiskers and Wags stay with us until adopted. Some will remain with us. The cats are not caged in the foster homes. In one foster home, the cats live with dogs.
