My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trevor is a very happy, handsome guy, isn't he? He was born on 7/4/2004 and is a purebred cocker spaniel. He was an owner surrender because they didn't have the time for him. How sad............

Trevor's tail is always wagging....always! He just seems to get along with everyone. We were told is a little unsure of small children, so we do not recommend him in a home with children under 5 years old. He gets along with other dogs and cats.

He is doing good in his training class. He does know sit and shake already. He is so cute!

Trevor wasn't very well taken care of by his previous owner and came to us with a bad ear infection, some eye discharge and skin problems due to horrible matting. He feels much better now, but we do not know if any of these conditions with be chronic.

Trevor is a great dog who would be a terrific family pet. Who wants to be the lucky person to take him home?

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just let us know. If you have questions about the dog, please call C.A.R.E.S. after 6:00 p.m. or email us. Sorry, but C.A.R.E.S. will NOT return long distance phone calls--our money is better spent on dog food............Thank you!
