Brownie's Story...
Brownie is a 5 year old chocolate lab whose former owners did not want to provide him with any veterinary care after he was struck by a car. Luckily for Brownie he was taken to a caring vet who had the owners sign over ownership to them and then provided the needed care free of charge. Brownie had FOA surgery on his hip and he is healing well. He is a typical lab, sweet and full of life. He must be placed as an only dog, but he does like cats and humans of all ages. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. If you are interested in adopting Brownie please contact Anna at 973-220-8656 or Anna or Joann at Liuzzo9@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Madison Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Madison, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
