Haiti's Story...
Hey there! My name is Haiti and I am a 2 yr old, 6 lbs (full grown), "applehead," brown, Chihuahua.

Being a dog from sunny, Southern California, I have all the trappings of a celebrity. My ambitious "mission" is to "eat well, be loved, get pet and sleep a lot." I can't get enough of the spotlight.

I attract attention to myself with my big Buddha poses exposing my belly so you can give me a good scratch! Life would be perfect if you adopted me so we could be "celebrities" together in a world of our own! I am up to date with all of my shots and I am spayed, microchipped and ready to go.

Pet Peeve: Having been abandoned to fend for myself on the streets. Food out of the garbage does not taste very good and some strangers weren’t very nice to me. I also don’t enjoy being out at night in the cold and much prefer a warm, cuddly bed.

Naughtiest Deed: Eating everybody else's food.

Favorite Pastime: Looking at you with my big, googly, "bug eyes."

Fastest Meal Consumed: Anything yummy!

You too can help save a dog's life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haiti, a Los Angeles Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
