My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in Abbie, you MUST visit our website and fill out an application before we can communicate details about Abbie. Abbie is a 2 1/2 year old, all white, deaf English Bulldog. Abbie had to be rehomed because she couldn't handle all the activity in her former home. She became very anxious and was becoming aggressive with teenagers who were visiting . Deaf dogs startle easily and become anxious when there is too much activity in their environment. Unfortunately, Abbie was never given the tools she needed to have a successful life as a deaf dog and began to act out.
Abbie is spayed and very healthy. She is now having in home training with a Certified Pet Trainer .
Abbie is not fond of older children and teens, their energy levels make her anxious and "on guard". I suspect that she may have been taunted by the children in her previous home. She startles easily and will attempt a "nip" as her defense. Abbie will only be adopted into a quiet adult only home with a family that is motivated to continue her training. She bonds easily with women.
She gets along with some dogs, mostly males. She doesn't care for teenagers or men.
