Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Buffy's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Buffy's Story...
Buffy is an adorable sweet 10 year old cocker whose previous owners were keeping her outside, then luckily decided they no longer wanted her and brought her to a shelter. She is fine with other dogs and cats and is a quiet friendly girl. She is very chubby right now and is starting on a diet and exercise program immediately to get her down to a healthier weight. Please submit an application from our homepage www.secondchance.petfinder.com if you would like to give this sweet senior the loving home she deserves in her golden years after the neglect she has endured.

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes or boarding kennels and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash). To help us better match a pet to your household, we request you fill out an application on our homepage www.secondchance.petfinder.com and copy and paste it into an email, or print it and bring it to our adoption day when you come. Local inquiries only please- we do not do long distance adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buffy, a Oak Ridge Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Oak Ridge, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Oak Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
