AxelPENDING's Info...

AxelPENDING's Story...

Axel - male, neutered, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), ~10mos, ~40lbs, Chocolate Lab mix (possibly Pointer? or Beagle?).

Unique looking boy who is a little over knee height, looks very much like a mini Lab with beautiful deep Chocolate Lab color markings on his legs and face. Axel is a friendly outgoing pup who is eager to meet his new family! Axel is good with other dogs, cats and respectful children of any age. He would love a family who can take him for training classes, though he is well mannered he could brush up on basic commands and house training after his stay in the shelter. Axel is crate trained and doesn’t mind being in his crate at night and when left alone. Until he has a better recall (“come”) Axel should be on leash when out for walks – unless of course he is at a fenced doggy park! He would be great on his own or as a second dog. This handsome, social boy is sure to get lots of compliments every time you take him out. Axel is best suited to a house with a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

AxelPENDING, a Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA paves the way for another one to be saved.
