Rosebud's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rosebud's Story...
Rosebud - female, spayed, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), ~1yr, ~50lbs, Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab mix.

Rosebud is a very sweet girl who is very unsure about all the change happening in her life. She really loves attention but is so shy at the moment, it has taken her a few days to really warm up to her foster family but she is coming around. She is quite lovely and snuggly when she warms up. Rosebud is great with other dogs, cats and respectful children over 5yrs – we feel that she would have a difficult time settling in to a home with louder more rambunctious young children. She loves a good chin rub or ear rub. She walks nicely on the leash and is house trained and crate trained. She finds security in her crate and likes to sleep in it at night and when left alone. Rosebud is best suited to a more mature home. She would love to find a house with a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosebud, a Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto/Etobicoke/GTA paves the way for another one to be saved.
