Inkjet's Story...
This Inkjet is looking to leave an indelible mark on your heart. After being abandoned on the FOHA property, you might think I’d be wary of people, but I love people. I can’t wait to find a family of my own so I can set down an enduring imprint of my paws on the map to say, “this is where I belong.” My name is likely based upon my monochromatic onyx fur. Who needs color when you’re this handsome? I am outgoing and fancy-free. I have a wide variety of interests – you may say I’m multi-function! I love to play, love to snuggle, and LOVE catnip. I’ve been neutered, so I won’t make any reproductions. No one’s going to call this guy “Xerox.” I will, however, make an excellent office assistant. I can rearrange your desk for you (according to my specifications). I can keep your keyboard warm by napping on it. I can serve as a handy-dandy paperweight in the middle of your desk to make sure that those important tax papers, for example, don’t run off when you least expect it. Oh, you were looking for that one that was under my left back paw? There may be many feline models to choose from – Epson, Brother, HP, Lexmark. Wait, are there cats at FOHA by those names? No, indeed not. This Inkjet is one of a kind.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Inkjet, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
