Sophie's Story...
Sophie is a beautiful, light yellow, female Labrador. She is only about 6-8 months old, but is mild mannered for her young age, and is very sweet. She is great with other dogs outside of crates/kennels, but is scared and barks at dogs when in a kennel. Sophie would not make a good outdoor only dog that would have to live in a dog run/kennel. Sophie is a great average sized female, and because of her laid back personality, she will be a wonderful indoor/outdoor family pet.

If you are interested in Sophie, she is currently available for adoption at the Ut. County Shelter in Spanish Fork. Their address is 582 W. 3000 North, and their phone number is (801)343-4080. She is in kennel #33. Her adoption from the shelter includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Provo Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Provo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
