Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB August 1, 2009. When the lady at the high kill shelter (where Purrcy was rescued from) took this wonderful kitten out of his cage, she lifted him high in the air, then kissed him on the top of his head and said ‘Now be a good boy, and have a good life’, he has followed her instructions to the letter.
Purrcy is one perfect little gentleman. His foster mom knew he had all the right moves when the first night at bedtime, he leapt up on her bed and tucked his head under her chin, stuffed both his front paws under the covers and began kneading and purring up a storm. After about 30 minutes, he ever so gently put his head on the pillow beside his foster mom’s and placed a little paw on her cheek and drifted off to sleep…what a cheeky little boy.
Purrcy loves life. He loves to be loved and petted. He loves a belly rub. He loves to eat. He loves to snuggle. He loves his foster mom’s 7 year old son. He even recently loved playing with a Yorkshire terrier pooch that his foster family was looking after.
He is one laid back little dude, a very handsome boy with absolutely fabulous jungle cat markings and a huge purr and zest for life. He has become fast friends with Melody, another foster cat in the home and you’ll often find him stalking her, then he’ll sneak up beside her, place a paw over her shoulder and grab her by the neck gently with his teeth and then they start to wrestle and romp with each other which ends up being a full on chase. Purrcy will be happy in a home with another cat, one which is not timid and likes to play. He could adapt to a home with pets already or would love to be adopted with his pal Melody.
