My name is Hunter!

Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) Mix Dog for adoption in Arlington, Virginia - Hunter

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Hunter's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Hunter's Story...
Hunter is one of MANY beagles rescued from a kill shelter. These poor babies were dumped by their owners once hunting season was over. After being dumped by his owners, won't you show him what a real family is like? He's currently being fostered at Wagtime, a doggy day care in DC, but would love to call your house his!

Adoption Fee: $325 (The adoption price includes: rabies (if the dog is over 3 months), de-worming (may have a few doses depending on how long we have them), heartworm test (if the dog is over 6 months), Capstar (flea & tick), getting them up to date on shots (puppies have anywhere from 1-4 of their routine shots depending on their age) and spay/neuter (if they are over 5 months of age and we get an appt). Also, their transporting fees, shelter pull fees and other dog needs are covered in this as well.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Arlington Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
