Jelly Bean's Story...
Jelly Bean is an adorable little Brittany/Hound mix who was found running loose in Fairfax County. He was taken to the county shelter, but no family came to claim him. He is such a cute, friendly do, so it is hard to imagine why they wouldn't come looking for him. When When he ran out of time at the shelter, FOHA came to his rescue, and offered him a second chance at a loving home. Jelly Bean seems to do fine with other dogs, and he would probably be okay with kids. If you are looking for a sweet and playful pup to add to your family, Jelly Bean is the dog for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jelly Bean, a Aldie Brittany/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany/Beagle for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Brittany/Beagle dog from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany/Beagle breeders who help with Brittany/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
