Nojack's Story...
Nojack is a sweet, calm, young boy. His favorite thing to do in the world is play fetch. He will play for hours and still want more.
Nojack walks politely on a leash and has calm manners around people. He gets along with other dogs and has shown no signs od aggression. Right now, he is part of a play group that includes five other dogs, three of them males.
We found Nojack on death row at the county shelter. From his picture, he looked like a dog named Jack that we knew from our years at the city shelter. We went to check him out. It wasn't Jack, but he was so happy to see us that we brought him back to Safe Haven. He was quite a find. Just an all around good dog.
Nojack is scheduled to be neutered March 2nd, then he will be good to go. The fee to adopt Nojack is $70. For more information, call 775-463-1842, 775-463-3404 or email barkdogsinfo@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nojack, a YERINGTON Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in YERINGTON, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in YERINGTON.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in YERINGTON already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a YERINGTON breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in YERINGTON paves the way for another one to be saved.
