Sadie's Story...
Sadie was born in approximately January 2004. She is a beautiful cat. She is front declawed. She can be a very nice girl but she has that stereotypical calico "attitude" that some calicos have. She can be sweet as pie one minute and the next, not want to be messed with. She is a quiet girl who would do best in a quiet household. When she was found, she had very bad teeth and she needed a dental done by the vet. Several teeth had to be removed and she has a good report card on her teeth now!! She adjusts to other cats pretty quickly, as long as they don't pester her, she tolerates them. She may even become buddies with another cat as time passes. She would also probably do well with dogs that are respectful of cats. She does not do well with small children or men, so we recommend her be in an all female household and over 12 years old. Do you have the space in your heart and home to take this beauty home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Muncie Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Muncie, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Muncie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muncie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muncie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muncie paves the way for another one to be saved.
