Skipper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Skipper's Story...
Meet Skipper, a gentle dog that we have had in our rescue for two years. Because he is a little older 6-7 years, and prefers to be an only dog, he has not been adopted. He is extremely loyal, obedient, smart, and loving! If you are looking for one special dog to take on walks that would not require any special training, this might be your dog. Please call 818-407-4145 or e-mail Lori@modernica.net to learn more about Skipper.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skipper, a Los Angeles Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
