found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
My name is Roxy and I’m a darling little bichon girl of about three. I’m a little shy and gentle but I’m a budding beauty and a major cuddlebug. And, according to my foster mom, a very smart little girl who understands everything she tells me and learned how to sit, for example, in just minutes. Not to mention figuring out where Mom puts the treats - why I learned that in just seconds!.
Dad says I know how to do a lot of ‘useful’ things. For example, I am completely potty-trained and have never had had an accident. Even when it's raining! How's that for smart? (And how happy that makes Mom and Dad too!) And I excel at snuggling and cuddling. In addition Dad says I'm one of the most obedient and well-mannered bichons he has met. Just let me know what you'd like me to do, and I will do it.
I'm also a 'girly-girl', (in case you couldn't tell!) Right now my hair is kind of short, so sometimes my ribbons fall out, but when my hair gets longer, you'll see how beautiful I will look. (Dad says he agrees with Mom on my being beautiful. What’s more he says that my eyes are the windows to a very beautiful soul. I don’t quite know what he means but he sure seems to like me! )
My very favorite thing in the world is to be with my people. Mom says I am a gentle girl who just yearns for attention. I need somebody to give me lots of love – and I give it right back too. I enjoy being with people. In fact, I kind of forget my shyness when people come over ‘cause I’m so excited. Mom thinks that one day I won’t be shy at all - just a sweet and special little girl who is longing to make someone very happy.
Oh and three other things I need to tell you. I get along well with the cats and my doggy foster brothers, I get so excited when Dad and Mom come home that I wiggle all over (Yes I do!) and I just love to hide in the pillows on the big bed. Mom says I can lay (or is it hide) there for hours and peek out from among the pillows to see what’s going on. You see I’m very content, safe and lucky that I’m a furkid – and now I’m waiting for a family to call my own.
So if I sound like your kind of girl, please complete an application and ask for me -- I’m Roxy! And I’m a rare and special little girl!
