My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cosmo --- Rescue date: 10-10-05.....
Hello. My name is Cosmo. I am a young male chocolate min pin. I came to be with Friends of Penny because my family was experiencing difficult circumstances. I came to FOP with my friend Paris. I love other dogs....in fact almost more than I love humans. But once I form a bond with my humans...well I will be your very best friend. I have just started to learn to walk on a leash and I'm doing a pretty good job. I seem to be a little on the nervous side. But with time, love and lots of patience, I think I can learn to overcome. I will be coming to live with my foster family at the end of this month. I know I have already been neutered and am up to date on my shots. My new foster family will tell you more about me once I arrive. If you think you would like me to adopt you as my new family, please let me know right away.

UPDATE: 11-8-05
Hi everyone. I’m back to tell you a little more about me. I have been at my foster home now for over a week and my foster family really loves me! I really like it when foster mom or dad sits on the sofa and I can cuddle up next to them, especially when they rub me and talk to me. They tells me I am a very sweet boy. And guess what? I don’t go to the potty in the house! My foster mom says that means I am housebroke. I also like to cuddle up in the BIG bed (under the covers) at night. If my human is too busy and I want to cuddle, I go find one of my furbrothers or fursisters and cuddle up with them. My foster mom says that I really get along great with all the other furkids at her house. So I would really prefer to have a sibling in my furever home.

Now I didn’t want to tell you this part but my foster mom is making me so here goes. I know how to climb chain link fences. I don’t know how I learned how to do this, but because I know how my foster mom says I can only go to a furever home with a wooden privacy fence or no fence at all (which means you will have to take me out on a leash). This is for my own safety. I just can’t help myself. And what is more, I don’t do it all the time. Just whenever I get ready. And since my foster family has a chain link fence I can’t go in the yard without a human to watch over me. But that is my only flaw (I call it talent…hehe).

So if you are looking for a sweet, handsome, lovable boy and you can work around my “talent”, then please submit your application for me to adopt you. I am ready to begin my new life with my furever family.
