My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*******IMPORTANT****** IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF OUR DOGS PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
Bridgette is a 5 year old female, former breeding dog. Bridgette was surrendered along with Kong and Sophie by their previous owners. Bridgette is at our vet being treated for an ear infection before she can be spayed.

Bridgette had her last litter about 4 months ago and looks forward to life without anymore puppies to care for. She is gentle and good natured. After surgery, we will make a food change to grain-free, hopefully ear infections will be a thing of the past. Bridgette is anxious to start her new life as a pampered pet.

Update: Bridgette has been in her new foster home and doing very well. She and her foster brother have gotten used to each other and are enjoying the time together on foster mom and dads comfy bed!!!
UPDATE: Bridgette had a life threatening setback. She developed a serious infection called pyometra and had to spend some time in the hospital getting antibiotics before she could be spayed. She pulled through and according to her foster family has a new lease on life!!

Update: this is a fantastic girl who needs her own home and a family to love her. She has been cleared for adoption by our vet but will need close monitoring of her ears in the future. Her ears have made great improvement after treatment and we believe she will not need additional surgery in the future. She's absolutely precious!!!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING BRIDGETTE, PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
