Tripper's Story...
Please meet Tripper. He is an 8 yr old Doxie/Beagle Mix. He is so sweet. A little shy at first but warms up real fast. Poor Tripper lost his home when his owner was put into the hospital with a very dim chance of her getting out. He was left alone in his house for about a week before we rescued him. His neighbor was trying to take care of him, but it was to much for her. He loves to play and loves to be with people. He will follow you around all over. He is a very nice guy and really needs to have a home of his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tripper, a Bloomsburg Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
