My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 05/26/2010: Hi! I'm Bailey! I'm 1 year old (I just had my Birfday in March!) and weigh a svelt 6 lbs. I am the HANDSOMEST boy in all Yorkie land! Well, that's what my foster mommy tells me. She also says I am the best foster baby boy she's ever had. Really, she says she means it. I let her know when I have to potty. I ask very nicely when I want to sit on your lap. I don't make much noise, and I am just so appreciative of any love you give me. Did you know I really didn't have any special belongings when I came to FM and FD's house. They said that a special boy like me deserved my very own bed. So I got one! And lots of toys too.

So here's the not-so-good. I have a condition called Epilepsy. See, I have seizures sometimes. I need to take medicine every day for it (luckily it's not 'spensive). I am currently having about 1 seizure per week. I know it sounds scary, but I'm OK. I've been checked out and I'm otherwise a healthy guy. I love to play..... Actually FM promised I would go to a home with another playful pup! I'm a good cuddler. Do you think you could maybe make room in your heart for a homeless guy like me? I'll be real good. I promise!

INITIAL BIO 03-05-10 MEET BAILEY! Bailey is an adorable 1 y/o 6# male yorkie who was surrendered by his owner because she could no longer care for him. Bailey was previously diagnosed with a seizure disorder and he will be seeing the vet next week to determine if he needs further testing to determine what, if any, further medical intervention is needed to make sure Bailey is as healthy as he can be. He is a very, VERY sweet little boy who loves to follow his 'person' around - he is housetrained and very curious about his surroundings. Bailey is a very mellow yorkie, especially since he's so young, but it may be the medications he is currently on that makes him so calm. He gets along great with other dogs and would do well in a home where he was either the only prince in the home, or perhaps with another dog close to his weight and size for a companion. Please keep checking Bailey's bio for further updates.
