Klinger's Story...
Kennel number 61 shivered in his cell at the pound. Animal Care & Control employees asked us to go look at this sweet little dog. It was his last day. He was being euthanized for fear. There is no doubt that Kennel 61 was scared - but the minute he got out of the pound, every ounce of fear left his body. He danced happily around, greeted everyone with exuberance and became a clingy little boy. Although hes very shy at first KLINGER LOVES HUMANS!!! There are no two ways about it. He is one of the most sweet-natured little dogs we have rescued. He got his name because he had a big nose (like Klinger on M*A*S*H) and because he is . . . well . . . a clinger when it comes to affection. He is working on his potty training and walking on a leash, and is a very quiet natured little guy

Klinger will make a great family dog or canine companion. He is a floppy wonderful guy. Come meet Klinger - you WILL fall in love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Klinger, a Scottsdale Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
