Penelope's Story...
DOB September 30, 2009. Penelope is a demure, delightful little girl. She is a beautiful silver tabby with beautiful grey-green eyes. She (like her siblings Nala, Nolan, Figaro) is one of the most amazingly sociable kittens her foster mom has ever had the pleasure of fostering and caring for.

She is inquisitive, but not timid, she is quiet and reserved, but not shy. Penelope is so affectionate and gentle. She is very inquisitive and walks with a definite grace while scrutinizing every nook and cranny of her foster home - instead of curling into a newly found hiding spot, she will wedge herself into spot as close to her foster mom as she can get!

Penelope would do wonderfully being adopted with one of her siblings, would integrate easily into a home with a resident cat and may do well as a single cat, but her foster mom believes her best traits come out when in the company of her companion cats. Penelope will melt the heart of anyone she meets and will hop up onto the bed to be close.

Penelope is a very energetic and playful kitten, but because she is slightly older, her true personality is being displayed and she is not getting into the typical “kitten” trouble of getting into everything. Penelope and her siblings are all extraordinarily well behaved, have the independence to entertain themselves or each other, became a part of the family immediately and will settle into their forever family easily and quickly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penelope, a Toronto Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
