Fozzie Bear's Story...
One minute I was in the road, covered with mats and with pieces of litter stuck to my fur, the next I was in a warm place where someone was handling me gently. I call that Divine intervention! Anyway, i am so glad to be in RI, where the weather is drier...I am waiting for my new home. I am a little guy and weigh about 5 pounds, but I think I am bigger and I am strong! I am around 4 years old. I do need help with housebreaking, but I am catching on!~ Due to my size, I would be best in a home which does not have small children. I am all right with other dogs, as long as they do not try to share my person's lap....then I snap at then! I would love a family which is around in the day. My fee of 375. covers my transport, all vetting to date and a collar and leash. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, Cape Cod or are in the Worcester, Boston (MA) or Litchfield, CT. areas (with preference to those in RI) Please call Judy at 401 647-0513 with any other questions. Would love a fur-ever family! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fozzie Bear, a Foster Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Foster, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
