My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 14", 14 lb. Shots up-to-date. Rescued from shelter.
His name is Malcolm, and he knows it well. He is a special, one-of-a-kind sweet and smart little man. His coat is irresistibly thick and soft. Malcolm will greet you with a bound, a spin and a back leg stand, front paws tucked close to his chest or one extended as if to greet you. He will bow his head and gently lean into you to have his ears warmed and stroked, and if you don't get it, he will use his paw to show you how he wants it done! Then suddenly he stands straight, tall and still, as if to say "I didn't do that silly stuff" and look to you for direction!

Malcolm is steady and even-tempered with everyone and other pets. He's content to sit next to you, or even partway on your lap if you'll let him! He actually looks to you for a cue - he could jump to any chair, couch or bed, but he will wait until you invite him. Totally focused on your eyes, but he'll wait! He is quietly loyal and protective, and may nip a stranger who enters the home if not introduced. He is crate-trained and housetrained, can be trusted alone in the house, and can self-entertain with a bone for hours.
