Joy is a tortie persian looking for a family to love. She is shy and timid at first, but you will be rewarded with patience as she is a loving cat. Please email us for an adoption application at ccrescue614@yahoo.com if interested in giving Joy a forever home. She is a very sweet girl, extremely shy, but when you get to know her she will lay on you and go to sleep purring so loud you would not believe the sound is coming out of her small body! She also will slobber a bit when purring so much and will do fine with other cats just as long as they are NOT bullies. She is a kind and caring cat and would not do well with cats who would push her around. She came out of a bad hoarder situation and was not well loved when she was young, so she is making up for lost time. She does take a bit of time to get to know you due to her lack of being socialized in her early years but you will not lose with this beautiful girl! Do not apply if you have a loud or extremely active home as she would not do well. We want her in a home where she will feel safe and comfortable. As she lived in a cage in a bad home before this and was handled only to have babies! She is good with all her habits since she is so happy to be living in a good, clean home ! As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter how will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can apply. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay the adoption fee to help the person wanting to adopt a cat/kitten, we will then screen them and if approved, you may pay for the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before. We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate you thinking of a rescue kitty to adopt.
