Guy's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Mediumhair | Color: | White | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Medium |
I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
DOB: 7/2004
Guy was found wandering the streets of South Pasadena in the Spring of 2009 and taken to the PHS. After no one came forward to claim him he was placed on the list to be euthanized; luckily he was able to be placed in a Cat Posse foster home instead. It was obvious that he had been someone’s pet at one time as he was already neutered and he is an extremely affectionate and demonstrative boy.
Although Guy is totally deaf, he can be very talkative especially when he wants attention. Guy does not know a stranger and thinks everyone will love him as much as he loves them; he is not particular about age or gender as long as he is being adored.
Unfortunately, Guy’s affections are only for the 2-legged variety of companions (humans) and not for other animals. He tolerates dogs but is very unhappy with the male cats in his foster family (he has not been tried with female cats).
Guy has an extremely beautiful, thick, and luxurious coat and loves to be brushed. Besides lying in his basket in the sun, one of his many joys is to be vacuumed with the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner (being deaf has its advantages as he seems to equate it with being massaged!); he actually comes running when he sees the vacuum cleaner come out of the closet.
This handsome young man needs a forever home and will be best in a household with no other pets; he would be a terrific companion for either a single person or a family with children.
If you are interested in adopting Guy, please visit our website, www.catposse.org and fill out the application on his page. You can also contact Sharon at sebastian_sophie@yahoo.com to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you.
