Let me tell you the story of Hazel.. She has been at the shelter since she was a very young puppy.. This girl has literally sat there for all these months... She is such a sweet girl. She has never had any issues with other dogs. She has always been housed with Lester. A Brindle Pitbull who she always felt was a good friend of hers.. We thought Hazel had found her forever home.. She left the shelter finally after being adopted on an adoption day.. Read on

She was returned 2 weeks later, not only bit all over the top of her head, (by their other two male Pitbulls), but very thin. She also had a split on the top of her head... Her spirit was broken, you could tell.. And that broke ours heart. .HOW PATHETICALLY SAD..The only thing they said was, their other two dogs didn't like her.. Image that!!.. We have waited a couple of weeks for her to heal and she has...The only thing is, we feel she would be best as an only dog now.. She gets upset any time males other then Lester are around her.. I can totally understand why after being attacked. Still she is as sweet as they come with people and is now getting back to her old self.... Hazel is very loved at the shelter. She needs a home of her very own. Especially now....It is really time for this girl to be loved just for her. She has such beautiful eyes and a beautiful spirit to match.....She is already spayed and up to date on shots as well....
