My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Naga is Adopted

Naga is fostered in ValleyView Ohio and her adoption fee is $350.

Meet Naga, 10-month-old Siberian Husky.
Naga is a pure bred Siberian Husky, and comes with AKC registration papers if you would like to register her.
Naga came to rescue by no fault of her own.
Her previous owner decided she just couldn’t give Naga the care and life a medium sized, high energy dog requires.

Since arriving in foster care, Naga has shown herself to be very loving, playful, and quick to give kisses.
She loves playing with her doggy friends, especially her border collie best friend. They run and run around the half acre fenced area.
Foster mom even got a special weight pulling harness and has taken Naga on short runs with roller blades and Naga just loves it.

Naga did come to us very malnourished and had never been to a vet. She was recently spayed and received her DHPP and Rabies shot.
She will still need a booster and microchip before placing.

As far as the type of home we are looking for this special girl - ACTIVE home. An active home is a must.
Naga doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, but does have the typical high prey drive and has given foster mom a real challenge with chasing cats and chickens.
Therefor a home with small animals is not recommended.
Also, she has energy and when playing likes to chase anything moving fast so we are not recommending small children as she could inadvertently hurt them.

Breed experience is a must or similar energy breed dogs experience.
Huskies are not for first time dog owners as they demand a strong pack hierarchy and if you can’t provide the alpha leadership they need, they will disrespect you and can be known to be destructive and run away if given the chance.

Will only consider homes that have a fence and appropriate setting for a husky. No apartments.
No small backyards unless you can prove she will get the appropriate exercise ie.) daily runner.

In addition to the adoption request form, foster mom is requiring a narrative on what makes you the right home for this amazing dog.
She is highly trainable, will provide years of love, and foster mom is heavily invested in Naga’s future.
You can add the narrative of what makes you the best home directly on the adoption form or send a separate email to cherished cockers.
Please title the email: “adoption narrative for Naga” so the team of volunteers can appropriately route it.

If you would like to adopt Naga or would like more information on her, please fill out an adoption application
