I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
This is Ruby, isn't she beautiful?? Half brindle and reminds me of the Joker in Batman! She is definitely a good conversation piece! :)
Ruby is a sweetheart who is a volunteer favorite... She loves her people and will be eternally devoted to you.... and, she does well with children. Ruby is dog selective so she should be the only dog in the home and isn’t a fan of the cat persuasion ;). Ruby is fine walking with other dogs and enjoys spending time with them but needs to be the queen of her home and be an only doggie.
She is fantastic on a leash and at 3 years old, is the perfect age...knows most of her commands and manners and is past the 'puppy stage' of chewing, etc... but still has lots of energy to play and run...in fact, she'd be a great running partner for any level runner!

We are located in the San Diego area and pull dogs from southern California shelters and we assist families in rehoming their pets so that they don't have to go to a shelter.
I started doing rescue because I couldn't stand to see adoptable dogs being euthanized due to lack of an immediate home. I knew that I could find them good homes.

Potential families are asked to complete or Adoption Application before visiting our dogs. We introduce you and your family including any other dogs/cats in your family to our adoptable dogs. If the meeting is a good match we will schedule a home check to ensure that the home is a good match for the pet that you have selected. You will then be asked to complete our Adoption Agreement and to finalize the adoption there will be a processing fee to adopt a pet from us. All proceeds go directly back to help support our rescue and there are no paid employees so all fees are used for our pets waiting to be adopted.
