My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ladybug was rescued from a local hoarder :( She would have been put to sleep if a Good Samaritan hadn't intervened! Ladybug is approximately 10 years old but she is still full of energy! Ladybug is playful and quite inquisitive. She loves to play with her feather on a stick and loves her scratching post! It's hard to believe her age so I would bet she will be going for almost another decade :)

Ladybug is a fine-boned, silvery gray, purebred Korat, a unique find in cat rescue work. Korats are similar to Siamese cats in that they only have one cat, no undercoat, so shedding is minimal and need for grooming is also minimal. Ladybug is often very talkative so if you're looking for a good conservation, she's certainly the cat for you! She is also very affectionate and will give you kisses with her kitty tongue, often taking a bit of a nip. The first time surprised me but Ladybug seems to think of it as a love bite so you must be prepared for her overwhelming affection towards you!

Ladybug would probably do better in a house with adults and older children (over 10 at least) but no dogs and no dominant or aggressive cats. She insists on being "top cat" so any cats she lives with must understand that and be passive enough to let her boss them around a bit. After all, she is pedigreed and I think she knows it!!

Ladybug has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. She is FIV/FLV negative. She's house trained and must be kept as an indoor only cat. In this case, distance and transportation is NOT an issue!
