My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adrian is a female basset who came to BHRG when her owner entered a hospice program. She is adjusting very well into her new surroundings in her foster home. Adrian has already decided what bed is her favorite, much to the chagrin of her basset brothers and sister. She is a true basset... a real professional beggar. She has the sweetest personality and just wants to be with her foster mom. Her favorite place is laying next to the front storm door looking outside. She thinks she is quite the watch dog. Although she is an old gal, she is very spry, she loves her daily walks and is always eager to go. Of course, she also loves her naps. It appears there may have been some abuse because whenever you go to pet her she cowers to the floor. But she loves to be petted and loves kisses. Adrian would do great in a home where someone is at home most of the time. She gets along great with other dogs, well at least other basset hounds, although she has no problem telling them off when they bother her. She needs and deserves love and warmth in her golden years.
