Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cotton was found tied to a tree as a puppy. She was taken in by a CARL foster home and soon adopted out to a famly with children 8-18. The family had her for approx one year and by all accounts took very good care of her. They gave her basic training and alot of love. However, Cotton grew bigger than they expected (40 pounds) and they were afraid that Cotton was playing too roughly with their smaller dog. Cotton returned to her foster home and has been living well ever since. She tends to get excited around people, and always wants to play, so she would not be a match for a family with children under 7 or so. Cottons foster home does not have a fenced yard, and she needs to run and explore quite a bit. If Cotton's foster can find her the perfect home... with a fenced yard, he will pay the adoption fee to Companion Animal Rescue League on behalf of the adopter. Spring and Summer are coming and this girl needs to be outside enjoying the sun and fun, so she can come in at night and have all her energy spent for the day!
