Rusty's Story...
Rusty is the last of a litter of 8 to find a home. He walks well on a leash and gets along with all people. He likes dogs and plays well with all of the dogs at the pens. Rusty has a good personality and handled the noises of PetSmart with no problems. He is being fostered in a loving home with other dogs. His mother was about 35 pounds but Rusty looks like he might have sheltie or retriever in him so we expect him to be a medium to large size dog. Rusty was born on 11/9/09 and he is a beautiful reddish brown with a little black mixed in. His tail looks like it was dipped in a ink bottle because the tip is all black. Rusty has fluffy hair around his head and he has very soft puppy fur. Rusty will be neutered and microchipped when it is age appropriate. He is current on his puppy shots and looking for a love. Please call or email if you are interested in meeting Rusty.

This pet comes with an implanted 24PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a McCormick Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
