My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Evie and I had lived happily with my owner for 1.5 yrs until circumstances made it that she did not have a stable place to live because she lost her home to foreclosure and the place where she was going did not allow pets. Though it broke her heart, she had to give me and my canine companion, a Chug (Chihuahua and Pug mix) up for adoption and so she relinquished us to the local shelter; a very scary, dim and dreary place.



Ken-Mar Rescue got the call that I needed help and they said they’d do all they could to get me networked and into a great “fur-ever” home. They promised (and I believe them) that they will do whatever it takes so that I won’t ever end up in a shelter again(where I’d surely die).



So here I am!



A little more about me . . .



I am a lap dog and love to cuddle. I love walks as well but do not require them to be happy. My owner trained me to go on pee pads but I can be taken out to potty as well. My owner worked 8 hours a day, 5 days a week so I am used to the work schedule of most people and can be by myself but I LOVE to be with people once they are home. I love running around in circles and being a goofball once my owners are home.



I get along with other dogs.
