My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yogi is deceased his liver shut down

Yogi is currently fostered in Morrow, Ohio and his adoption donation is $250

Yogi - Yogi is estimated at 5 yrs years of age. He has only been in foster care for a few days, and we are still learning about him.

He is crate trained, and may be housetrained. Yogi is already neutered and has not tried to mark in the house.
He does not complain at all about going into his crate, but is a total cuddle but and would prefer to be on the couch.
He seems to get along well with all the other dogs, after being in his foster home for only a short time, his foster does not expect him to have any trouble getting along with any dog.
He is friendly and well behaved for bath time and grooming except for having his nails trimmed, he doesn't like that part of grooming.
So far, he has not shown any interest in toys, just affection.

Yogi does not seem at all aggressive with new people, in fact earlier this week the UPS driver made a delivery and saw him and asked about him.
His foster brought him out on the leash and he was friendly, following her to the truck and climbing right in … Yes, he loves to go for rides (and is very well behaved while doing so)!
From the short time that he has been here, I believe that Yogi would like a stable home and would adjust well to most families.

Update

Here is my update on Yogi.
I have had Yogi since approximately 5-22-10. He saw the vet on 5-14-10 and had an eye infection, ear infection and was on an oral antibiotic, I'm not for sure what it was for. I took him back to the vet on 9-27-10. He had another eye infection, ear infection and a staph infection that created lesions on his skin (dry, crusty skin patches). I'm not sure sure if that's what he was on the oral antibiotic previously for. We cleared the ear infection up. His right eye got another infection and I noticed a few small skin lesions again so I took him back on 11-11-10. We figured out that he has tiny eyelashes that grow the wrong way and irrate his ear creating the infections. The vet said there really is nothing that can be done with it but start a 5 day round of his eye antibiotic. She didn't think the 9-27-10 round of oral antibiotic cleared up the staph infection and showed me what to look for and to just call for another weeks worth of antibiotic if I see those signs.

She also told me with the fatty deposits under his skin, skin growths and milkiness of his eyes it really indicates he is really more like 10 years old compared to the 5 that I was told.

I have noticed that with any irritation he can be a bit snippy. I'm really thinking he wouldn't be good around small children. But other than than he is a very good dog. he doesn't jump, get under your feet and really isn't a lap dog. He loves to sit right next to you on the couch though. He's not needy in the least and has never had an accident in the house. He would be a great dog for an older couple or a single person. He can be a bit of a bed hog lol. He walks well on a leash and really doesn't need to be tied up outside as long as you are out the with him. The kids that he has been around he has done fine with but like I said he can be snippy if you try to even look at something that might be tender.

Yogi is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.
