Gigi's Story...

Sweet Gigi is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is about 2 years old and who weighs 12 pounds. Gigi loves people, and wants to be with humans all the time. She loves sleeping on the bed right next to you. She is housetrained, crate trained, leash trained, and is spayed, microchipped and up to date with shots. Gigi is small, but she is loyal and protective. She'll alert you when she sees or hears anyone outside your home, or sees or hears strangers. Once she knows visitors are friends, she'll be in their laps in minutes enjoying being petted by new admirers. If you're looking for a devoted, loyal, affectionate friend who follows you around the house and who finds joy in the simple pleasures of playing with stuffed dog toys and basking in the sun (but who is happiest when snuggling and napping in your lap), then Gigi is the perfect pet for you! Gigi is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a Vista Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Vista, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
