Have you ever wanted a Collie, but didn't want the long hair and grooming responsibilities? Then Jack the smooth Collie might be just the dog for you! Most people think that all Collie's look like Lassie. Well...that's just not true. Collies come in the rough version such as Lassie or the smooth variety like our very own Jack.
Hi there....my name is Jack! I'm a young boy who's people decided they didn't want me anymore. So, my foster mom took me in to keep me safe and happy. I'm really having a great time at my foster home! I have lots of canine friends to play with. I really enjoy my friend Sienna. We will share the same chair, the same toy and just really enjoy each other's company. I get along well with most other dogs. Sometimes it can take me a few moments to check a new dog out, but then everything is generally fine. I am a Collie and have the typical Collie voice. I don't really bark excessively, but I like to "talk" and will bark when I'm playing. I am house trained with a doggie door and have pretty good house manners. I am still very much a puppy and it is not above me to chew on something I'm not supposed to (like a magazine or something). So, I need to have plenty of chew toys around the house to keep me occupied. I am a very active boy and need an active family. I walk ok on a leash, but could use a bit of improvement there. Please make sure you are prepared for all that goes along with raising a boy of my age and activity level. I really want to go to a basic obedience class so we can learn good things together! Overall I am a GREAT boy! So, if you're ready to meet me, just contact my foster mom
