My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of birth December 17, 2004

Brought into rescue September 26, 2005

Hello everybody...I'm Sienna! I'm a very active young gal who loves to play! I like to chew on my Nylabones, play tug of war with Jack or one of my other friends with the rope toys, go swimming in the doggie pool and just plain ol' act silly. Yes, I do actually settle down and relax sometimes. We can watch some tv or something if you want, just make sure you realize I am a "lap dog".....or at least I like to think I am. I really enjoy being around my people and like to spend as much time as possible with them. I get along well with most other dogs, but don't know about kitties. I really would prefer to live with a male canine friend. When I first came to my foster home, I could escape from about any crate and still try to escape after I eat my breakfast or dinner. My foster mom got me a new crate and I don't mind eating my meals in there or even sleeping overnight. My foster mom seems to think I have a slight case of something called separation anxiety....whatever that is. I think I would be best going to a home where someone is always home or have a male canine playmate to spend my time with. I will also possibly need a "good" crate for times when my people need to leave me alone for a short period. I would really prefer no crate at all as long as I have a doggie door with a 6' block wall. I can also climb wood or chainlink fence and could possibly also get over a block wall that is under 6 feet tall. I'm trying to learn and understand that no one will leave me again. I am house trained with a doggie door and have good overall house manners! Needless to say, I still have a lot of puppy left in me. So, please make sure you're ready, willing and able to accept everything that comes with raising a young girl my age and activity level. I've been going to some obedience classes and learning some new things. My foster mom says I can be a bit stubborn. Me? Never! (wink wink) I really want to continue basic obedience class together to continue to refine my skills with my new family. It would be great fun! I'm a lot of fun and a great cuddler! So, if I'm the one you've been looking to add to your family, contact my foster mom cntrydrmz@qwest.net and request a questionnaire to complete.
