Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you're looking for a great dog, then you've just found her. This is Wilma, She is about a year old, already spayed, has had her vaccinations updated, is Heartworm negative and on monthly
prevention, and is microchipped.
We rescued her from death row at the shelter because she had been overlooked for 3 1/2 months, and her time had simply run out. Wilma was one of the Summer Kids Love-A-Pet Camp dogs. She was selected for her sweet temperment and good nature. She has been taught ot sit and lead, but she does need her skills brushed up.
Wilma gets along well with all my other foster dogs, both large and small. She is not food aggressive or possessive of her toys. She loves to play with the other dogs and with me, but will sit on the couch and snuggle quietly too. Wilma is also very intelligent, and I believe could learn to do just about anything you wanted to teach her. She weighs in at just under 40 pounds, which should be her full grown, healthy weight.
Wilma needs kids and a family and a yard and lots of fun and attention. She is waiting patiently for her forever home. If you are interested in Wilma or would like more information about her, please contact Melinda McMillion at heart4rescue@wmconnect.com.
