My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

4/25/10: Sweet Patrick has been in Maine for a short time now and his foster family thinks he is a great dog!

He has been introduced to children (ages 4 and 9) and was calm and wagged his tail when they petted him. He is getting used to riding in the car as this is a new concept for him. He enjoys the companionship of other dogs and would love the opportunity to either live with another dog or to socialize at a dog park or daycare. He loved it at the dog park that his foster family took him to!

Patrick does very well on the leash. He is also great with cats! What's not to love about this little loving Labby boy?

3/21/10: Gentle Patrick is a Labrador Retriever mix with golden brown eyes and a soft black coat with white markings. He is eleven months old and does well with people of all ages, gets along with other dogs, and is polite to cats.

Patrick and his sister, Tara, were found stray along with their brother, who has been adopted in Tennessee.

Patrick is an affectionate dog who loves being at your side for hugs and cuddle time. He will bat his paw for attention and sit at your feet for a pat on the head. Patrick has excellent manners, is a good walking companion, and he enjoys playtime. He has a calm, sweet-natured personality that is so endearing. He will be a great family dog!

As with many of our sweeties, Patrick is currently with one of our partner shelters in the south. We are hoping to bring him north around the middle of April.
