Sonic's Story...
Sonic, a Pug Mix with an adorable underbite, is about 2 years old and recently found as a stray and never claimed by his family. He is an energetic little boy who acts like a puppy. He’s very cute (his picture does not do me justice), active and friendly. He loves kids and dogs. He is being fostered in a home with a young child.

He is friendly, cute, sweet, and active and just the right size to hold in your arms. He weighs about 15 pounds. He loves to go for his daily walks and he walks well on a leash. He is crate trained and housebroken. We don’t know if he gets along with cats.

Sonic is being fostered in MA. If you would like to meet Sonic because you think he would be the perfect addition to your family, please visit to read about Underdog ResQ's adoption process. And, complete the adoption application on that page!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonic, a Framingham Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Framingham, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Framingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Framingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Framingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Framingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
