My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Happy dog..happy dog...I'm such a happy dog. No, really, I am such a happy dog that I was diagnosed with "Happy Dog Syndrome". My name is Brendan and they tell me that I'm 1-2 years old. When I first came off of the street and came to the Cocker Inn, I was starving, I had sarcoptic mange and I was itchy all over. My hair was falling out because I was scratching so much and I was miserable. Then once I started feeling better, my long tail started wagging....and wagging....and wagging...and it wouldn't stop. It was on "auto wag" and wouldn't stop. It wagged so much that it bumped into everything around and started bleeding. The happier I got, the more my tail wagged and the more it bumped into things and the more it bled. So the vet diagnosed me with "Happy Dog Syndrome". The only way to remedy it was to dock my tail so now I am REALLY happy because it is short now I can wag it as much as I want to without getting "ouchies". Hopefully, "Happy Dog Syndrome" is contagious because I would really like a family to share my happiness with.
