Maggie's Babies's Story...
These little darlings were born in Baja on 1/12/2010. The lady who gave them up surrendered them to a wonderful rescue organization that does great work with homeless dogs. They were raised in a home, so they are beyond friendly and social – they are real lovers!

I am fostering them at my home in Poway and I have completely fallen in love with them. They are fat, sassy and healthy – and so fun and funny!

They are ready for their new homes, and are great with other dogs, with kitties and with children.
My guess is that they will be medium sized doggies – the momma looks like a small (and beautiful!) lab, and she, too, is searching for her forever home.

We aren’t sure who papa was, but as you can see from the pictures, he had to be one handsome dude!

For more information on these little rascals, and to meet them as well as all of our other foster pups, please call 858-391-1037 or email dsollohub@ffres.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie's Babies, a Poway Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Poway, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Poway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poway paves the way for another one to be saved.
