Zara's Story...
DOB April 2008. Zara is a gorgeous long haired calico gal looking for a loving home with a family who will pay her lots of attention. She is a sweet, quiet cat who talks and purrs a lot.

She enjoys playing with feet under the duvet at story time with her two human children, batting balls and carrying clothing around the house while her family is out. They are always greeted by clothes at the front door and a cat needing a belly rub!

Zara has been fantastic with the four and seven year old children in her home at all times - she is never destructive. She is very loving and enjoys lots of cuddles and company. Please give this very happy girl her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zara, a Toronto Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
