Leo's Story...
Little Leo is such a love bug! He came into this world at the Onslow County Shelter back in December 2009. He is now about 3 months old and ready for his first real family. Leo is a momma's boy, he attaches himself to one particular person and would flip over backwards just to make that person smile. Leo is completely crate trained and actively working on his house breaking. He has already been neutered, dewormed and had all of his important puppy vaccines. Leo has also already been started on monthly heartworm/flea prevention. He loves other animals both dog and cat and is great with kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Jacksonville Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
