My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sad girl is Tara. Tara was very pitiful at the shelter on Saturday. She had just been spayed on Friday and didn’t have a very good experience. She bled a lot during her spaying and she was trying to tell me that story with her eyes. When I walked by her kennel door, she didn’t move from her curled up spot on her donated Kuranda bed. I had to go in and visit her…when I opened the kennel door…she sat up and gave me this look. Poor baby wanted loves but just wasn’t feeling well. Poor Tara was tied to an out building by her owner and left behind. The owner of the out building that she was tied to didn’t want her so she was brought to the shelter. She is a American Staffordshire Terrier mix and is about 3-4 years old. She is sweet as can be and just would REALLY like a warm bed to curl up on!!!! Can you help her find that??? Thanks to the Shelby County No Kill Mission, Tara has been spayed and will be vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please visit with this girl and let her show you what a good girl she is!!
UPDATE: Tara is feeling a LOT better this week!! See my post below about her last week. I took her out for a walk and she enjoyed my visit and the love I had to give her!! She is putting on weight and her sores on her bottom and legs are improving!! She is looking for that FUREVER home! Please help her find it!!!!

PLEASE call the shelter ASAP! 502-633-0009
