Susie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Susie's Story...
Although she is only three-months-old, Susie has already gotten herself in serious trouble. First, she apparently sprained her fore-leg in some mysterious fashion and now limps. Secondly, she ended up on the euthanasia list at the city shelter. All of that behind her now, Susie is recovering nicely in a foster home. She loves to run and play with other cats, is already spayed and she is very loving and affectionate. Can you help Susie put her bad times behind her to look forward to a loving and responsible home? If so, please call us, rather than email. Susie is a sweetie! (212) 427-8273.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susie, a New York American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
