Mr. Krinkle's Story...
Hi, I'm Mr. Krinkle. I'm extremely sweet, and love kids, adults and other cats alike! I'm 10 years old, which is why I'm having trouble finding a forever home - although I've been on the local TV news twice. (The link to my first appearance isn't available anymore, but you can check out my second in the video to your left.) However, I'm very healthy! Besides, adopting an older cat like me ensures you know my personality and that I'm calm, litterbox-trained and will be a purr-fect "cat-panion" for your other older cats, as kittens can be too overwhelming.

Saved from a different shelter right before they were going to euthanize me, I've been tested for feline leukemia, de-wormed and microchipped in addition to being neutered and up-to-date on my shots. Hope to see mew soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Krinkle, a Spring Valley Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
