Ky's Story...
Ky is an extremely handsome Blue Heeler that caught the eye of an independent rescuer in East TX. She contacted Tassie's Hope for help in finding this delightful boy a forever home. Ky is sweet and affectionate and just wants a family of his own to love him. We don't know much about Ky's history, except that he was born on 4/24/02, but he has acclimated well in his foster home and quickly won his foster mom's heart. Ky is very calm indoors. He is crate-trained and we're working with him on his housetraining. Ky is also very well-behaved on car rides. This is one very intelligent dog. Ky knows quite a few obedience commands: sit, stay, roll over, shake and heel. We're talking Mensa dog, here. Ky is gentle with children and is friendly with other dogs, as long as they are friendly with him. Ky is fostered in a home with cats, although, typical of Heelers, he seems to be a little overly-curious about them. Our $150 adoption fee helps cover the cost of Ky's neuter, shots, worming, heartworm test and vet exam.
